There are bed frames, and then there are statements. This queen platform bed by Komfort of Denmark is the latter, a fully integrated bedroom centerpiece that renders a nightstand table, headboard, and storage unit into a single seamless teak composition.

The headboard runs the full 112" width of the piece, flanked on each side by floating nightstands with curved leading edges, three stacked drawers, and a shelf surface.

Komfort was among Denmark's premier bedroom furniture manufacturers of the mid-century period, and the construction here shows why. Dovetailed drawer boxes, solid teak throughout, hardware original and fully functional.

The piece presents in original, unrestored condition with the warm patina that only decades of honest use produce. Structurally excellent.
