Danish designer Arne Vodder (1926 to 2009) studied under Finn Juhl and is known for teak and rosewood sideboards with handle-free drawers. His work sold well in North America.

- Know the factories. Vodder designs were made by Sibast (also seen as P. Olsen Sibast), Cado, France & Søn, Bovirke, Fritz Hansen, Erik Jørgensen and others.
- Look at the drawers. His best-known sideboards have shaped drawer fronts instead of handles, sometimes with coloured inside panels.

About Arne Vodder
Arne Vodder studied under Finn Juhl, who became his friend and partner, and opened a studio with architect Anton Borg in 1951. His office furniture for Sibast in the 1950s sold well in the United States.
Because so many factories made his designs, the label tells you who built a piece, and the model number tells you whose design it is.
