Sell your mid‑century furniture in Calgary
We buy teak, walnut and rosewood furniture from the 1950s to the 1970s in Calgary and the towns around it. Send photos, get an offer, usually within one business day, and we arrange pickup case by case.
Send photosHow it works from Calgary
- Send photos. The whole piece, any label or stamp, and any damage up close. Your phone camera is fine.
- Get an offer. We price it from what comparable pieces have sold for, the condition and the work it needs, and we tell you whether and when we can come to Calgary.
- We pick it up. We bring the truck and carry it out, and you are paid by e-transfer or cash before it leaves your home.
Where we buy
Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere, Strathmore, High River, Canmore, and anywhere else in Alberta. We are based in Edmonton, about three hours away, so we arrange each pickup once we have seen your photos. There is no set schedule, and we will not make the drive without telling you first.
Damage is fine
We restore every piece in our Edmonton shop: veneer repair, refinishing and new upholstery. Water rings, scratches, loose joints and tired fabric do not scare us off.
What we look for
Mid-century sideboards, dressers, dining sets, desks, wall units, lounge chairs and bedroom suites, especially by R. Huber, RS Associates, Deilcraft, Jan Kuypers, Arne Vodder, Kai Kristiansen. Unmarked pieces with good bones too. More on what we buy.
Clearing out a whole house?
Estates and downsizing moves are worth the trip. Send photos of each room and we will tell you what we want and what we will pay. How estate buying works.
Questions
Do you really come to Calgary?
Yes, case by case. We are based in Edmonton, about three hours away, so we look at your photos first. When we make an offer, we tell you whether we can come and when.
What makes a trip worth it for you?
A good piece, several pieces, or a whole house. Single small items are harder to justify on their own, but send photos anyway: we may be able to pair your pickup with another one nearby.
How do I get paid?
By e-transfer or cash, before anything leaves your home.
Is there any obligation?
None. If the offer does not work for you, that is the end of it.
